Welcome

We welcome your interest in AAUW – San Gorgonio Branch of the San Bernardino Area. We have monthly Branch Meetings September through May usually on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Interest groups include Gourmet, Great Decisions, Dine-Outs and Book Club. As our community outreach project, the branch has adopted the ChildHelp village in Beaumont to help abused children with donations and gifts. For membership info, email Mimi or Eileen.

Calendar

April 6 - Monday - Branch Board meeting at Coco's restaurant at 5:00 p.m.

April 11 - Saturday - Branch Meeting at 10:00 at the San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands followed by lunch at Mill Creek restaurant across the street from museum. Election of officers will be held during lunch.

April 13 - Monday - Book Club meets at at 2:00 p.m. Donna's house for discussion of Rabbit, Run by John Updike

April 23 - Thursday - Great Decisions at Alice Lou's at 2:00 p.m.

May 4- Monday - Branch Board meeting at Coco's restaurant at 5:00 p.m.

May 11 - Monday - Book Club at 2:00 p.m. with discussion of The Bookseller of Kabul by Seierstad.

May 16th - Saturday - Branch meeting at 10:00 a.m. at the No Name Cafe on Highland. Program will include Legal Advocacy Fund (LAF) program, installation of new officers for the 2009-2011 term, and award given to the Educational Foundation (EF) Named Gift Award.

Membership

  • Membership is open to anyone who has an associate or higher degree from an qualified educational institute.
  • Undergraduates are eligible to be student affiliate members of the branch.

In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.

About our branch

Our branch is celebrating our 100 year anniversary! We have a long history of being involved in activities and projects that help women in personal and professional growth, community leadership, and friendship.
